Introduction of Village Heir

 Village Heir is a beautiful village on the eastern edge of Lahore and situated on Bedian Road Lahore Cantt. The exact origin and history is unknown but some of the historical blogs stated that it was existed before 1600. Before partition of Pak-India, it was a village of Sikhs. There was a Gurudwara and a Smadh in the village which doesn't exist anymore due to increasing population and rapid construction of houses. In 2000-2001, many sikhs visited the village. There is also another village of this name "Heir" on the other side of border.
